«Pushkin Museum of Fine Arts Guided Tour» Excursion Program

Discover the largest collection of paintings in Moscow with a trip to the Pushkin Museum. Founded in 1910, the museum is known for its impressionist and post-impressionist exhibitions. It also houses an incredible collection of more than 6,000 Egyptian artifacts.

The main museum building is home to artifacts from ancient worlds like Egypt, Greece, and Rome—as well as the Italian Renaissance. Stroll through galleries filled with European art from the 17th, 18th and 19th centuries. See incredible examples from the schools of Italy, Spain, France, and Holland. Admire masterpieces by legends including Rembrandt, Rubens, Van Dyck, and Canaletto.

Situated adjacent to the main building, a new wing of the museum has been open since 2006. This vast space housing collections of art from Western Europe and America is a direct contrast to the more classical style of the main wing. Here you can explore breathtaking pieces by masters like Renoir, Monet, Degas, Cézanne, Toulouse-Lautrec, and Picasso.
